Meet The Doctor

Omar Usman, BSc, DDS, MSc, FRCD(C)

Dr. Usman received his Bachelor’s degree (BSc) in Life Sciences from McMaster University in 1996 and then proceeded to the University of Toronto for his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree after which he pursued a hospital residency program (GPR) at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. He then returned to the University of Toronto for his Masters degree (MSc) and clinical training in Periodontology including implant surgery and related bone grafting. Dr. Usman currently maintains his private practice limited to Periodontics located in Whitby, Ontario with particular interest in periodontal mucogingival procedures and implant dentistry. He is a past lecturer at Durham College and is currently involved in the didactic and clinical training of graduate residents in both the prosthodontic and periodontic departments at the faculty of dentistry at the University of Toronto. Dr. Usman is a fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of [COUNTY] as well as an examiner for the organization in the field of Periodontics.
